We are seeking a passionate and motivated Storage Engineering Intern to join our Innovation Lab team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that explore the future of storage systems and infrastructure. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, prototype, and validate innovative storage solutions that push the boundaries of performance, scalability, and reliability.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required technical and professional expertise:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Know-how of AI/ML/DS is desired.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with storage concepts such as file systems, block storage, and object storage.
- Basic experience with back-end development and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred technical and professional experience:
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
- Knowledge of distributed systems or networking fundamentals.
- Understanding or exposure to SaaS and other “as-a-Service” models (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, STaaS).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
