Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other Technology STEM related majors at LaGuardia Community College
- Successful completion of the LGCC Software Engineering Bootcamp
- Graduation date between June – August 2024
- Ability to work onsite at our Wells Fargo offices in Midtown for approximately 20 hours a week
- Hands-on technical experience with a diverse skill set which may include but not limited to: Java, Cloud technology, .NET, Python, SQL, etc.
- Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or demonstrated leadership experience in academics or a community setting
- A desire to learn new technical skill sets and knowledge of the banking industry/products
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn from and collaborate with a diverse set of team members in a fast paced, change driven and dynamic environment
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Software Engineering – Participating in the design, development, integration, testing, deployment and support of technology systems to businesses. Typically, will work within an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lead) setting.
- Typical Tech Stacks: Java, ReactJS, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
